Fish and aquatic life for the Water Feature

Fish for the water feature will help to create a aesthetic feel to you water feature.
First the fish should be climitized to the water to do this you will have to place the bag that the fish come on top of the water for fifteen to twenty minutes. This will help the make sure that the water in the bag and in the pool are the same so you do not shock the fish and kill them. After this time you will be able to release the fish. Do not worry if the fish swim to the bottom and hid they are just getting used to the new environment. They will be normal in a day or two after they get use to the environment. When purchasing fish for the feature you can fit a 2 inch fish in one square foot of water. If you have 3 square feet of water this will support one 6 inch fish and so on. You do not want to over populate the pool. If the feature is near the woods you need to watch for predators like raccoons and the neighborhood cats they will prey on you fish. When purchasing fish for the feature remember about how powerful a pump you have, if the fish are too small than the pump will suck the fish in and you will need to buy more fish.
